A NetTalk Adapter is device also known as ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter) which transforms normal analog sound into digital format, for transfer via the Internet. Basically, it is the device that allows you to make normal phone calls over the Internet.

3. Can I use NetTalk with a USB Modem? |

Not with a fixed landline phone, but you can still use NetTalk via NetTalk Softphone as usual. |

4. How does a NetTalk Adapter work with a router in bridge mode? |

In your NetTalk Adapter settings choose connection type PPPoE in the Network Setup page, and in the WAN Settings page submit your Internet service user name and password, and the NetTalk Adapter will connect directly with the Internet.
