Getting Started with NetTalk
 
1. How do I start using NetTalk?
  When you successfully register for service, you will be given a user name and password via email and sms. To begin using NetTalk via PC, download NetTalk Softphone and login using the user name and password you received from NetTalk. Users who wish to access NetTalk via a NetTalk Adapter, install the hardware, and submit your password according to the instructions provided in the User’s Manual. Once you have logged in you can begin making calls.
 
2. How many digits NetTalk numbers have and what is the prefix for NetTalk numbers?
  NetTalk numbers are the user name users receive when they register for service. This number has 11 digits, and the prefix is 99 (ie. 990000000123). Prepay NetTalk numbers, and trial NetTalk numbers have a prefix of 98 (ie. 98000000123). Users can call other NetTalk numbers by dialing the user name just like with a normal phone.
 
3. How can you answer NetTalk calls?
  Currently, NetTalk numbers can only receive calls from other NetTalk numbers, and can not receive calls from fixed landlines or mobile phones. In the future, however, once permission has been granted by the proper government agencies, NetTalk numbers may be able to receive calls like a normal phone.
 
4. How do I make outgoing calls?
  For domestic calls, simply dial the destination number like you would with a normal phone (ie. 0890000000). For international calls, dial 555+country code+number.
 
5. How can I check status on a Fixed Line Mobile Adapter? (white package) 
 

If the power light, WAN light are illuminated, and the phone light is orange, you are ready to start making calls.

 
6. How can I check status on a Fixed Line Mobile Adapter? (purple package)

7. How can I check status on a IP Phone?
  The LCD will display your NetTalk number. (ie. 98100xxxxxx)
 
8. What if the phone light on a Fixed Line Adapter is not illuminated?
  Check to see if your account is still valid, if you still have credit in your account, or if you have entered the wrong password.
 
9. How can you check usage history for a prepaid account?
  In case of IP Phone that display No Service and Ethernet Error.
 
10. What is the NetTalk IP Server?
